Jean is working with the local authority to revitalise the old library at the Barlow Institute following the withdrawal, by the Labour Council, of mobile libraries which were so vital to rural areas.

Due to the Government's freeze on council tax, BwDBC council tax will be held at 2010 level.
Jean is working with Jake Berry our local MP on National issues that affect the Wards.
Jean also holds monthly advice surgeries with Jake at the Barlow Institute as advertised on the Institute noticeboard.
